Honoring our loved ones with floral arrangements is a tradition and an important
expression of Love. In an effort to keep the cemetery mowed, safe and well cared for,
please respect the following rules:
Decorations may be placed for one week for the following holidays:
Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, and Flag Day.
Memorial Day Weekend and Veterans Day.
We will place flags for our 108 + Veterans that have served our country.
Baskets, wreaths and similar decorations can be hung from hooks or placed in vases
attached to headstones throughout the year.
Please refrain using Glass Containers, Wires or Metal Stakes.
Do not add Borders, edging or fencing , this impedes the mowing.
Any appropriate Winter Decorations can be left October 15th to March 1st.
Please help weed around any personal expressions and benches.
All help is appreciated by picking up stray flowers, or other
items or litter. This added help ensures the beauty of Second Creek Cemetery.
NOTE: If you remove any spent flowers or decorations please dispose of them in the
trash container by the church or take them home to dispose of.
Leaving them by the bench for someone else to dispose of is not acceptable.
The church has authorized us to use the their trash container for discarded
flowers or decorations, etc.
