Road Closure:
NOTE: The I-435 Exits are open to NW Cookingham Dr.
The NW Cookingham Rd Bridge over I 435 is closed thru
November 2026.

WORK DAY: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
PLEASE COME AND HELP CLEAN UP AND MAINTAIN
SECOND CREEK CEMETERY.
WE NEED YOU!!!!!!
Trim Peony bushes, trim Hosta's, brush off and trim
around stones, especially the Military Stones.
Pick up sticks and brush.
Haul off brush and trimmings from the day.

for a more detailed list of what we need help with.
If you have family there, and have items of remembrance,
please come often to maintain. As our mowing crew
does not remove or weed around these items left.
If you have flowers, etc that have been placed and
are beginning to look worn,
Please come and help maintain them.
Your donations, the burial spaces sold as well as
Burial fees, and all Income is used to finance the cemetery.
Mowing is our biggest expense.
We do not pay any of our board members.
It is our village and we need your help.
Especially the younger family members and the men of
Second Creek.
We thank our families and friends for their donations
that help support the care of Second Creek Cemetery.
Your donations help keep our Cemetery looking beautiful.
We are always in need of volunteers to assist in general
pick up and oversight.
We, well (2 ladies) so far are taking the time to wash
the vinyl fence that we updated in 2020.
If you have a little bit of time, you are always welcome to
assist. Bring your soft brush, bucket and dawn soap.
